A note from the creator: I was born and raised on Long Island, NY, but am currently living in Virginia Beach, VA. After many years of working in New York City, the daily grind started to take its toll. This started a journey of meditation which eventually led to yoga. After a decade of practice with many meditation and yoga teachers, it came to be that I was introduced to Sri Dharma Mittra which would change the course of my life and bring about a whole new understanding of self awareness. Through the Dharma Yoga Life of a Yogi teacher trainings, I came to find renewed excitement and "angry determination" as Sri Dharma would say. Not being the most flexible person, I came to learn very quickly the need to take care of my physical body as well as the spiritual one. I decided to begin cataloging the knowledge imparted on me in order to share with others. This website is a dedication to Sri Dharma Mittra. Om Shanti -Jeremy

My love for fitness and nutrition developed during my senior year of college when I realized the sports I played and enjoyed would not continue to improve or sustain my health and well-being for me much beyond college. How would I continue to improve my mental and physical well-being when my college athlete days were over?
I fell in love with the anatomy of the body and the amazing machine God created it to be. I worked hard to become a certified trainer at the age of 21 and have not stopped since. I now own and operate my own fitness franchise. I strive daily to assist and train my clients to be the very best physical and mental version of themselves they can possibly be. I know the importance of keeping the mind and body active especially as I age. From my beginning as a collegiate athlete, running marathons, and competitive body building, I am still training myself and others to stay in the fight against age, to keep moving, and stay strong.
Katya Guseva
Born on the Russian-Chinese border and raised in Siberia, Katya spent much of her life living in different places, including Southeast Asia, California, and New York. Continuously finding herself in a new place, yoga became the only constant in her life. After 15+ years of various styles of yoga she was led to her first Ashtanga teacher, Ade Adinata, in Bali, Indonesia, and instantly felt at home. Since then, she has become a student of Guru Dharma Mittra, teaching and practicing at Dharma Yoga Center NYC, and apprenticed with Alex Shatzberg teaching at his studio in New York, New Vibe Yoga. Katya teaches to share the transformational benefits it has given her.
